Well said! ?? It’s true that most of the ingredients that are used in our skincare and makeup today may have been tested on animals in the past, but times are different now, and there’s really no need for us to still be testing ingredients and cosmetics on animals. So what we can do is try our best to make sure ingredients are not CURRENTLY being tested on animals. This is often done with a mutual agreement and understanding between ingredient suppliers, manufactures, and companies that after a certain date, they will do everything they can do to make sure nothing they use is dripped into the eyes of rabbits or rubbed onto the shaved skin of any animal.

And that is progress that I choose to support 100%! =)

@ Mindlyly – I think you mean ‘ingredients’. Water is a chemical. Very little in this day and age is ‘cruelty free’. Stop sneering at those making an effort. Many ‘non-ethical’ brands still test the ingredients they know to be safe from decades of testing. Finding an ingredient or group of ingredients that has never been used on animals is pretty hard given that we’ve been using makeup for centuries and humans are animals. While the ends never justify the means, we shouldn’t dismiss the knowledge gained.
